This is a view through the COLLIDE camcorder of the prototype impactor box. At the bottom of the picture are two sets of ten high-intensity light-emitting diodes which provide the only illumination for this image. The three bands visible on the mirror just above the lights are support struts for the stand holding the camera. Further tests will be conducted with the target powder.
