FLIGHT PROGRAM INSTRUMENT ENGINEER (FPIE1109)

LASP invites application for the position of Instrument Engineer (PRA) who will be responsible for the characterization and calibration of photometric devices, particle detectors, optical components, and instruments as these systems are developed for NASA flight programs. Candidates will also be involved in the development of necessary test fixturing both electrical and mechanical.

Applicants with knowledge of programming and software applications such as IDL, Labview, Zemax, and Solidworks are preferred. Experience with vacuum systems and clean rooms is highly desirable, but not required.
