Assistant Professor, Physics or Aerospace Engineering SciencesThe Colorado Center for Lunar Dust and Atmospheric Studies of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado at Boulder invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to start in August 2010, in experimental, theoretical, or computational space plasma physics. Candidates with experience in one or more of the following are especially encouraged to apply: plasma laboratory experiments; space hardware development for electromagnetic fields; plasma and dust measurements. The successful candidate is expected to develop an independent research program using or supporting our planned and existing research facilities, including a 3MV electrostatic accelerator.
