EVE Filter Repair Completed and Redelivered to GSFC
March 2008: One of the MgF2 filters in EVE was found to be cracked. EVE was returned to LASP
for repair of this filter, as well as, the other filters were examined and filter holder design changed
to avoid future problems. EVE was retested (thermal cycles on filters, vacuum tests, alignments, and
vibration test) and arrived back to GSFC on March 26, 2008.
Signficant Improvements with EVE
Sep. 12, 2007: The EVE instrument has 70 times better spectral resolution in the
XUV than current measurements and has 30 times better time cadence / duty cycle too.

EVE Instrument Delivered for S/C I&T
Sep. 7, 2007: The EVE instrument was delivered to NASA GSFC on Sep. 7, 2007 and is in preparation for spacecraft integration and test (I&T).
