ACCOMMODATIONS
Warner Springs Ranch
Reservation Deadline: Oct. 7
Nestled on 2500 rolling acres in the foothills of Palomar Mountain in Northern San Diego County, Warner Springs Ranch specializes in providing the complete conference and resort experience. In addition to meeting facilities and a business center, this relaxed and rustic ranch offers a full array of resort amenities, including full service spa, tennis courts, horseback riding, 18-hole championship golf course, two Olympic-sized pools (one hot mineral, one a “cool” fresh pool), hot mineral springs, private airport, glider rides, fitness facilities and classes, and miles of scenic hiking trails. Please visit their website at: http://www.warnersprings.com.
The group will be staying in their cozy cottages, most with fireplaces and mini-refrigerators. EVE Workshop attendees must make their own hotel reservations. A block of rooms has been reserved. Nightly rates are $95 plus tax (9%) per night. If you would like to stay over the weekend, the rate will apply based upon availability.
To make your reservation, call Jennifer at 1-760-782-4213 (Wednesday-Sunday) before the October 7 deadline and refer to the EVE Workshop to get the special rate of $95. We have reserved a limited number of rooms based on expected attendance, so please make your reservation as early as possible. This may allow us to increase the block of rooms if necessary, assuming Warner Springs Ranch still has rooms available. (They will honor the group rate if we need to increase the block within a reasonable time frame.). This is a popular time for the resort, so it is very important that you make your reservation no later than October 7 , and preferably much earlier. They will fill quickly. For details on their amenities, visit their website. You will want to make reservations ahead of time for golf, spa treatments, etc. Rooms do not have a television, telephone, or internet access. Also, Verizon is the only cell phone service working in the area. If you encounter any difficulties making reservations, please contact Vanessa George (vanessa.george@lasp.colorado.edu) at LASP.
