Files in this directory are the archive versions of Galileo UVS data.  
Generally the file names are the orbit-number_observation-name.DAT or .XDR 
or .AACS .  Sometimes we made equivalent files with a different format, 
to match the data-file format expected by GGGS, and named these with 
the same name but with an "A_", "B_" or "C_" in front.

The .DAT files are Vax format files and can be read on unix by adding a
'/vax_float' to the OPEN statement. The .XDR files are IEEE compatible
files but you must use a sequential READ to read each record.
