I hope to complete (ha!) my review of Juno results to date at the magnetosphere of Jupiter.
In particular, I will focus on Jupiter’s intense aurora, what we are learning about processes that are similar to Earth – as well as important differences. One important difference is the role of the moons – particularly Io – in the generation of aurora. I will also give an update on Jupiter’s dynamo after attending the recent Juno science team meeting. Oh, and we could talk about mush balls….
