A set of simulations modeling the near-surface lunar plasma environment, conducted by CCLDAS members A. Poppe and M Horányi, was recently published in the Journal of Geophysical Research. This study analyzed the interaction between the solar wind and the photo-illuminated lunar surface, as well as the interaction and behavior of lunar dust grains immersed in this plasma.
