Piquette awarded ARCS Scholarship

CCLDAS student Marcus Piquette has been awarded the 2011-2012 ARCS Scholarship. He was nominated by Dr. Mihály Horányi.
Partnering with 52 of the top colleges and universities across the nation, ARCS Foundation Chapters support U.S. citizens pursuing degrees in dozens of fields of study. ARCS Foundation’s scholars have completed significant research, founded companies, received numerous patents, and published extensively.
Piquette is an undergraduate in Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder working on simulations of the photoelectron sheath and dust dynamics on the lunar surface.
