This wooly creature is known as a musk ox. The large horns, forehead and long thick hair give this arctic animal a very distinctive look. Like the caribou, the musk ox can be found on the northernmost land masses in the arctic. They are herd animals and will group themselves with their rear ends in the center so that they each can see and protect the herd from predators.
