Carbon dioxide cycle diagram

Carbon dioxide cycle diagram

This diagram illustrates the different ways that carbon dioxide cycles through the atmosphere, the hydrosphere (oceans and seas), the lithosphere (rocks and land), and biosphere (plants and animals). Carbon dioxide is constantly moving in and out of each of these spheres and human activity can alter how much carbon dioxide goes out of one sphere and into another (ie. Burning fossil fuels and cutting down trees).
