Are you teaching astronomy for the first time, want to learn more about up-to-date solar system science, or need new astronomy lessons?
Join us for this week-long, NASA-funded program offered by LASP. Explore hands-on space science activities, receive classroom materials, meet other teachers, tour area labs, and have fun.
The 2014 Space Science Teachers Summit will offer an opportunity to learn about space science from scientists, with a focus on:
- Solar science
- Planetary magnetic fields
- Planetary evolution
- NASA’s MAVEN mission to Mars
Participants receive a $300 stipend, free dorm lodging (if needed), and eligibility for 3 graduate credits (optional, $180 fee).
