SDO EVE Calibration Rocket Succesful

The SDO EVE suborbital calibration rocket, designated NASA 36.275, was launched on March 23, 2011 and was a complete success. All instruments needed to transfer the calibration to EVE observed the sun properly. This is the second of fix planned rocket calibrations that are needed to maintain the accuracy of the EVE instrument.
