Conference on Magnetospheres of the Outer Planets – Boulder, Colorado – 9-13 July 2018

The meeting will be held in the BioTech building, next to LASP on the East Campus of the University of Colorado. Parking info-overviewPassenger drop-off & zoom in – carpooling strongly encouraged. Prizes for those who bike or walk!

Reception – Sunday 8th July 6-9pm. Free – including great local beer!  Rayback Collective – relaxed, casual, appetizers,etc; Location & directions

Excursion – Wednesday afternoon – 2pm onwards – bus up to Chautauqua Park, pick up map with route at meeting.

Registration Forms

  • Abstract Submission – abstract book to be published in day or so.
  • Registration –  175 people registered! NOTE – form & payment are separate links – please click on each and fill in the forms.
    • $300 –  Pay here – full registration covers reception Sunday night, M-F lunches, abstract booklet, goodies
    • $150 for students
    • Onsite payment options: A- check in US dollars made out to the University of Colorado; B – Cash (lots of ATMs around).
    • Receipts for registration on letterhead available at the meeting. Ask Fran if you need documentation for visa applications
  • Banquet – Wednesday evening – Banquet Dinner at the Chautauqua Dining Hall – sold out.
  • ESA fellowships – We are pleased to announce that ESA will provide a limited financial support to young researchers (under 35 years of age) to facilitate their participation in the MOP conference. Selected.

Conference Program Information

  • WHOLE SCIENCE PROGRAM – Invited talks = 25 mins. Contributed talks = 15 mins. We will have a Mac and PC computer connected – please bring your talk on a memory stick – preferably also in .pdf as well as your preferred format. Or you use you own Mac or PC laptop.
  • Posters: size = 1.2m (47″) across, 1m (40″) high – could extend below. If you want to print in Boulder, there is a Kinkos/FedEx on 28th and Pearl.
