Summary

Erin Wood is an educator and interim director of the Office of Communications and Outreach at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is currently a MAVEN mission team member, coordinating programming and developing curriculum, including spectroscopy lessons, science and literacy lessons, and is co-lead for the Mars Education Ambassadors (MEA) teacher professional development program. She conducts teacher professional development on topics of the Sun and Solar System, and coordinates a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program in solar and space physics, and creates hands-on curriculum for grades 3-12.
