Summary

Tom Mason is an Education and Communications Specialist with the Office of Communications and Outreach (OCO) in the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado Boulder. He leads social media outreach for the laboratory and for the 2013 MAVEN mission to Mars. Tom assists with web content management, external communications, public relations, and press activity, as well as Education and Public Outreach (E/PO) programming.

Tom’s past experience includes youth development programming and volunteer management for both the University of Hawaii and Colorado State University. He has worked extensively with students and adults in adventure therapy programs, field science education, and team-building initiatives.
