Tom Mason is the Communications and Outreach Manager for the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado Boulder. He leads social media outreach and communications efforts for the laboratory, for the NASA MAVEN mission to Mars, and for the NASA GOLD mission. Tom oversees web content management, external communications, public relations, and press activity, as well as Education and Public Outreach (E/PO) programming.

Tom’s past experience includes youth development programming and volunteer management for both the University of Hawaii and Colorado State University. He has worked extensively with students and adults in adventure therapy programs, field science education, and team-building initiatives.
