Nitric Oxide Data
Nitric Oxide Volume Densities are available from the Solar Mesoshpere Explorer Satellite from January 6, 1982 (DOY 006) to December 11, 1986 (DOY 345). The densities are sorted by geographic latitude from 90°S–90°N in 5° latitude bins. There are 37 bins including the equator. Densities are given in the altitude range of 96–160 km in 3 km increments. The actual data were taken at 3.33 km steps, but for simplification in display, the altitude numbers have been rounded.
