SORCE Reaches 6000 Days in Orbit!

The SORCE team hosted an Ice Cream Social at LASP to celebrate that SORCE has been in orbit for 6000 days at the end of June 2019! To recognize this milestone attendees topped their ice cream sundaes with 6000 M&Ms, which included some fun custom M&Ms (see photo). SORCE launched on Jan. 25, 2003 and reached 6000 days in orbit on June 30, 2019. This extremely successful mission is the product of spectacular engineering, dedicated managers, engineers, and scientists, and an amazing mission operations team that continues to make it happen!
