NRC Solar System Exploration Survey

At the request of NASA, the Space Studies Board and its Committee on Planetary and Lunar Exploration have organized a community assessment of the science and mission priorities of the U.S. planetary exploration programs.*

Please take the time to give Survey members your input on the direction solar system exploration should take over the course of the next 10 years.

This week there will be two opportunities to meet with Survey members:

Tuesday Evening — 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Grand Ballroom

In cooperation with the conference organizers, the Survey will hold a Town Meeting on Tuesday evening. Michael Belton, chair of the Survey, together with members of the Steering Group, Panels, and a NASA representative, will describe the project and answer your questions.

Wednesday Afternoon — 1:00 to 6:00 pm in the Flatiron Conference Room

The Survey's Giant Planets and Large Satellites panels will hold informal "drop-in" sessions at which you can discuss specific science and mission priorities relating to the Jovian planets and their major satellites.

ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE!!!
