Information

   Included here are some general information files. The file UVSINST.TXT describes the physical traits of the Mariner 9 UVS instrument.
   Publications from this program are listed in the document M9UVSPUB.TXT.
   Orbits and the times they include are listed with the EDR and SEDR selection menus as part of this web site. Science orbit planning information, for groups of orbits, is available at that menu. The beginning and end DAS times of the Mapping periods for each orbit is given in the file M9_ALL_MAP_PERIODS.TBL.
   There is a small IDL (Interactive Data Language) program that reads the EDR files at mmrd.pro.
   Information on how to use the calibration data is given in how_to_calib.txt. The calibration data are in the IDL (unix format ASSOC) file mm71_fcal_solar.dat.
