    Free to the public; parking available on-site.

    Description: Evening open houses at LASP's Space Technology Building on January 3rd and on January 24th for 8p.m. to 11:30p.m.
    • Live NASA feed broadcasting the landings of the Mars Exploration Rovers (MER). Estimated time of landings:
      • January 3 at 9:25 MST for MER Spirit Landing
      • January 24 at 9:54 MST for MER Opportunity Landing
      Includes live commentary by LASP scientists and engineers.

    • Talks by LASP researchers on the Exploration of Mars and the Importance of these missions:
      • January 3: Dr. Brian Hynek and Dr. Tom McCollom
      • January 24: Dr. Bruce Jakosky (Director, CU Center for Astrobiology) and Dr. Brian Hynek

    • Tours of the LASP engineering and mission operation facilities.

    Directions to LASP:
    Address: 1234 Innovation Drive, Boulder, in the East Campus Research Park.

    Located on the North side of Colorado Boulevard between 30th Street and Foothills Parkway. The LASP Space Technology Building is a large brick and glass building set back from the road with a large white satellite dish to one side.
