The workshop will be held at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado in Boulder Colorado.

LASP is located in the CU Research Park to the east of the main university campus (1234 Innovation Drive, Boulder, CO 80303).


Pre-Registration (before October 22): $200
Registration (after October 22): $250

Registration fees include the meeting facilities, refreshments, lunches, and receptions including alcoholic bevereges. The University of Colorado's Conference Services is handling our credit card processing via their secure on-line system ( You can also register with a credit card by calling 303-492-5151, emailing, or faxing 303-492-5959. 

For payment by check or money order, please use the Registration Form (pdf) and mail your check to the address on the form.

Cancellation and refund deadline: Monday, October 25. We apologize for any inconvenience, but this deadline is due to the commitments we need to make to businesses providing us with their services. We will do our best to accommodate any special situations. Conference Services will be handling any late credit card registration additions (i.e. dinner) and any credit card refunds. There will be a $20 processing fee for any cancellations.

The Millennium Harvest House is convenient to the University of Colorado, the 29th Street retail district, minutes from downtown and the historic Pearl Street Mall. The hotel is situated along the Boulder Creek walking/biking path and looks up to the Rocky Mountain foothills.  They offer the business travel high-speed internet in all guest rooms.

Workshop attendees must make their own hotel reservations. A limited number of rooms have been reserved for the MESSENGER-BepiColombo Workshop with a special group rate of $103 single / $113 double. The group rate will be offered 2 days pre- and post-meeting dates (Oct. 30 – Nov. 6) based on availability. Please make your reservation early.  If you encounter any difficulties making your reservation online or if the group rate is unavailable, please contact: (The group block can possibly be increased if necessary.)

The closest major airport to Boulder is Denver International Airport (DEN),, which is about an hour drive from Boulder.

Rent a car or take Boulder SuperShuttle (, 303-227-0000).  SuperShuttle blue vans provide hourly service from DIA directly to Boulder hotels.  To take the shuttle from DIA, purchase a ticket at their booth, located in the main terminal at Level 5 – baggage claim. An advance reservation is not needed; boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis. You must, however, make an advance reservation to take the SuperShuttle from Boulder back to DIA. Cost is around $22/person for one-way ride to a hotel, or $28 one way to a residence. Small discount for round-trip.
