PERSONNEL
LASP can have different levels of responsibility and involvement on missions and programs. Sometimes we just deliver one instrument to join others on a spacecraft (like the UVIS instrument on Cassini); and other times, we build the whole instrument package (like on SORCE) and hire out the building of the spacecraft and lease the launch vehicle. LASP is also sometimes given responsibility for operating the spacecraft or instruments or both from our on-site mission operations center. Other times we just have one or two scientists doing research on a project.

Below is a list of current programs and missions that LASP is currently participating in in various capacities. You can also view a listing of past missions that LASP participated in over many decades.
