Things to do once a sequence has been uplinked to the spacecraft

--Predict platform kernels--
----------------------------

Once the sequence has been uplinked to the spacecraft, a predict
platform kernel will be created at JPL that corresponds to the 
sequence.  Be on the lookout for this kernel's email message.
Predict kernels are named with the orbit number and version of
the sequence on which it based.

After copying this kernel into the appropriate directory (see 
SEQ_GEN_TASKS.DOC),  make animated plots of all the observations
in that sequence.  Replace the plots in the GS_PLOTS directory
AND in the notebooks.

--Updating the Command Archive--
--------------------------------

Each edition of a sequence, along with the final uplinked sequence must be stripped of everything
except for UVS/EUV commands and then copied into the Command Archive.

	<change to the directory containing the uplinked sequence>
	idl
	.run sofq:sef_strip
	sef_strip
	Carriage return
	<select the appropriate file from the menu>
	<choose item "2" Command Archive Strip>
	<name the output file "sef_archive.e11aig">

	em his:cmd_archive.lis
	<type in an appropriate header for this orbit load>
		eg:  LOAD E11AIG Creation <create time> Begin <begin time> Cutoff <cutoff time>
	<copy the sef_archive file into the command archive>
	^x-f to save
	
	Also update the aacs archive in the same manner, using aacs_strip in place of sef_strip

--Copying POINTER plots and short files--
-----------------------------------------

We print the plots generated by POINTER and their accompanying
text description (short) files for archival purposes.
Once you get the e-mail about the plots and short files,
print these out, using a command to print the short files horizontally
on the page (lwb/form=lpt_gray <filename>).
Then place these hard copies in the POINTER and short notebooks.
