Contents:	This file contains information about the ISL9 UVS encounter 
		files that have been certified (V2) and are located 
		in the same directory.  Each file has the
		start and stop RIM and SCE times, the number of IDL 
		records, the UVS configuration notes, and information
		about the file creation.  Please note that for each 
		observation there is only a .DAT.  This (.DOC)
		is formatted for IDL string processing, there is a line of 
		asterisks separating this content information from the file 
		information and blank lines separate the individual 
		observations.  Under "File Info", F-dc stands for F-channel
		de-compression; all data is raw instrument output.

		NOTES ABOUT DATA QUALITY: The playback of SL9 data was very
		fragmentary, resulting in poor UVS data. Also, it was discovered 
		that the program for formatting UVS data did not deal well with
		fragmentary records.  An older version, that handled the 
		fragments correctly, was used but it caused the following 
		header values to be invalid: 11,17-29,37,38 and 586-599. 
		The definitions for these values can be found in:

		IMPORTANT NOTE:  The number of records begins counting at 1.  
		   IDL begins counting at 0.  Therefore, if the number
		   of records is N, then in IDL there are 0 to N-1 records.
