PRIMER was flown on NASA's KC-135 on July 24, 25, and 26, 2001 out of NASA Glenn Research Center.  Following are links to some of the video recorded on those flights. PostScript plots of the acceleration in the airplane normal to the target surface are also available for some parabolas.

July 24, 2001, Target Tray 1, parabola #8 (nominal 0g), F-75 Ottawa quartz sand (> 75 microns).  Quicktime movie (350kB).
July 24, 2001, Target Tray 2, parabola #9 (nominal 0g), JSC-1 (<250 microns). Quicktime movie (284 kB).
July 24, 2001, Target Tray 3, parabola #11 (nominal 0.01g), JSC-1 (150-250 microns), Quicktime movie (580 kB).

Final design of PRIMER differs from that pictured below: all target trays have same orientation.

May 24, 2001 Design of PRIMER:

The transparent box is the Acrylic Vacuum Box, which is composed of 5 sides plus a cut out bottom that is attached to the Al plate. There are four compartments, which are operated independently of each other.
The Aluminum Bottom Plate is where the target trays and rotary motion feedthroughs are attached.
This Aluminum plate is always perpendicular to the floor of the plane.
O-ring groove for vacuum seal between acrylic box and Aluminum bottom plate is shown in red.
Target tray is shown in blue.
Door of the target tray is shown in green.
Door hinge system:
Rotary motion feedthrough on bottom plate (orange).
The door is manually operated from the back side (atmosphere side).
The aluminum bottom plate is square (33x33cm2). This allows the whole experiment to be rotated with respect to the floor of the plane. A frame (not shown) will be bolted to the floor of the plane and to the box shown above. In order to change the orientation we only need to rotate the box, not the frame.
