The Virtual Solar Observatory project (VSO) demonstrated a working prototype at the 2003 AGU meeting. Development of the core VSO code has continued, expanding the VSO's ability to search and identify datasets that may be of interest. We continue to investigate ways to provide the data to the user in the most accessible form. We are prototyping a "data shopping cart" to enhance search presentation, session retention and data delivery. We continue to seek community input for the VSO development and have set up a web site to facilitate bug reports and comments or suggestions. We have started working with other data providers, outside of the VSO core sites, to increase the available datasets both in terms of number and type. Here we present the current abilities of the VSO, short-term plans and the path to one-stop data shopping with VSO.
