SME Nitric Oxide Database

How the Data are Arranged:

Nitric Oxide Volume Densities are available from the Solar Mesoshpere Explorer Satellite from January 6, 1982 (DOY 006) to December 11, 1986 (DOY 345). The densities are sorted by geographic latitude from 90S to 90N in 5 degree latitude bins. There are 37 bins including the equator. Densities are given in the altitude range of 96 kilometers to 160 kilometers in 3 kilometer increments. The actual data was taken at 3.33 kilometer steps, but for simplification in display, the altitude numbers have been rounded.
