OLSTICE mission operations are run from the Laboratory
for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) of the University
of Colorado (CU) at Boulder. There are two main components: uplink and
downlink. The uplink element utilizes a science user resource oriented planning
and scheduling system. Down link operations include near realtime operations
and engineering mission analysis. All mission operations support software
was developed at LASP utilizing both professional Research Assistants and
undergraduate and graduate students. The SOLSTICE control center is staffed
by undergraduate students.
