March/April 1997- SOLSTICE observes comet Hale-Bopp
- In March and April, the UARS / SOLSTICE instrument observed comet Hale-Bopp.
The SOLSTICE team plan to release comet spectra
soon.
- March 1995 - New UARS SOLSTICE Data Set
- In March, the UARS / SOLSTICE team released new calibrations for long-term
instrument degradation and also a new calibrated data set. This latest
data is available from the GSFC DAAC,
the UARS CDHF, from this WWW Server, and on the recently released UARS
CD-ROM disk.
- This new data exists as data version 9 of the SOLSTICE Level 3BS data
set and provides significant accuracy improvements over the previous versions.
We believe this data is accurate over time to 2% at short wavelengths and
within 1% at longer wavelengths above 300 nm.
