The SOLar-STellar Irradiance Comparison Experiment (SOLSTICE) on the SOLar Radiation and Climate Experiment (SORCE) makes frequent measurements of the Magnesium II core-to-wing ratio at 280 nm. We will present a summary of how the Mg II index varies on timescales ranging from minutes to an hour.
