This document presents algorithm descriptions pertaining to the data products "Total Solar Irradiance" and "Solar Spectral Irradiance", described in the 1999 EOS Reference Handbook. The SORCE ATBD incorporates revisions prompted by the first-round written and oral reviews of the SAVE ATBD last year, and also includes the addition of the TIM instrument algorithm descriptions, reviewed in May 2000.
