Welcome
I am a Research Scientist at the Laboratory for Atmospheric
and Space Physics at the University of Colorado. My main research
interests are the geologic, hydrologic, and climatic histories of
the planet Mars and all things related. In particular, I work on
problems dealing with past fluvial erosion on Mars, martian
volcanoes, geologic mapping, habitable environments, and aqueous
geochemical modeling. New data, including high-resolution
topographic data and images, are shedding light on the planet
Mars and upcoming missions will continue to change our
perceptions of this planet. I am involved with analysis of the
Terra Meridiani region, which is the landing site of the
Opportunity Rover. My mapping has helped evaluate hypotheses
regarding the formation of the deposits.
Feel free to check out my personal info to learn what I do
outside of work and see some neato pictures. I've also posted my
curriculum vitae.
