My Personal Page
This page gives a little personal information about me and my life. I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences and a Research Scientist in the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Work keeps me busy but I still find time to get out and have a little fun.
I have a house in the quaint mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, where
dogs outnumber people and our most famous resident is a frozen dead guy. I can see the jagged continental divide from my deck and have mountain biking trails out my front door.
I love to travel and be doing most anything outdoors. In particular, I enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, telemark skiing, hiking, mountaineering, and kayaking. I’ve included a few pictures of some of the more exotic or picturesque destinations. I try to get out as often as possible with my 75 lb dog named Marley (seen above).
