I'm a student in PAOS, the Program in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

This picture here fairly closely resembles me most days; I'm a happy buffalo.

As a member of the Toon Research Group, I work hard and take part in many projects.

Among them is incorporating sea spray aerosol into CARMA, the Community Aerosol and Radiation Model for the Atmosphere. Eventually, I will model smoke from biomass burning using the model, perhaps with an inclination toward public policy.

Meanwhile, here is a brief summary of the transfer of heat and moisture across the air-sea interface via bubbles and spray droplets. The summary includes a review of the sea spray generation function.

And now, some pretty plots... A simulation wind movie
