Welcome to the Ehlmann Research Group! We are planetary scientists, geologists, and remote sensing experts dedicated to understanding planetary surfaces and developing new instruments and techniques for ices, mineralogy, and chemistry analysis. We are closely involved in enabling new NASA missions and new technologies for Earth and planetary sciences. Current mission projects include MRO, MSL, Mars2020, EMIT, UCIS-Moon, AIRES, Europa Clipper, as well as work on lunar landers, asteroid, Venus, Mars, and Ocean Worlds future missions.
