If you have forgotten or misplaced your LASP password, please follow the steps in this guide to reset your password.*Please note that we are currently going through a migration of our authentication back end. Once you reset your password you may have delayed access to some web services for up to 2 hours.

Password Policy

The follow password policy is in place

  • Can not re-use previous 5 passwords
  • Can not be your username
  • Minimum length of 8 characters
  • Must contain at least 1 digit
  • Must contain at least 1 lower case character
  • Must contain at least 1 upper case character
  • Must contain at least 1 special character: (`~!?<>,./\;:@#$%^&*-_+=)

How to Reset Your Password

  1. Please visit the Password Reset Page

  2. Enter your username or email address in the text field, and select "SearchSubmit."

  3. The system will

    present several "security questions" that you created when setting up your account, similar to the example below. Enter the answers to these questions, and select "Check Responses."

    send you an email with a link to reset your password.

  4. The link in the email will take you to a site where you will be prompted If your answers match the responses you previously set up, the system will send a random code to your email address. Check your email (and spam box) for this message.
    Copy and paste the code from the email message.

     If the code is correct, the system will prompt you to create a new password. Enter and Confirm your new password (twice) and select "Change Password."

    The system will change your password, and send a password change confirmation message to your email.
     Submit".

  5. If you wish, navigate back to the LASP Account Confirmation page Management Page to login and verify your accountpassword has changed.
