technical info needed from MMS to further explore options (commercial and other missions' ground stations present and future):

• MMS antenna gain
• transmit power
• current downlink data rate
• confirm radio re-programmable for different downlink data rate
• model number of the MMS radio
• orbital period 3.5 days (further accuracy?)
• altitude range for DSN downlink (what altitude range is open for other networks?)
