From FPI’s perspective DBCS, DMPA and DSL can all be considered “near GSE” since the MMS spin axis will deviate from ecliptic normal by no more than a few degrees.
For our Level 2 products, FPI transforms all data products to GSE, ignoring the differences (fractions of a degree) between DBCS, DMPA and DSL.
