The Galileo ultraviolet spectrometer experiment consists of two instruments: the Ultraviolet Spectrometer (UVS), mounted on the pointed orbiter scan platform, and the Extreme Ultraviolet Spectrometer (EUV), mounted on the spinning part of the orbiter with the field of view perpendicular to the spin axis. This page contains text files of engineering data for the two instruments. Most of the information records the temperature. Later in the mission, the UVS heater was always on in order to keep the instruments mounted next to the UVS as warm as possible.
