CSIM Version 1 Data Release
March 20, 2020
Data from the initial operations of the CSIM technology demonstration mission has just been released, it is available here. These solar spectral irradiance (SSI) observations occurred from March 27, 2019 – November 12, 2019. Over this time approximately 240 photodiode and 20 ESR spectra were taken.
The CSIM instrument measures the daily top-of-the-atmosphere SSI from 200 nm to 2800 nm (>97% of the total solar irradiance). All SSI data products are reported at a mean solar distance of 1-AU and zero relative line-of-sight velocity with respect to the Sun.
