Deployment from ISS delayed until Mid May
April 11, 2016
The deployment of MinXSS flight model 1 from the International Space Station (ISS) has been delayed from early April to mid May. The ground team remains ready though this may cause some scheduling conflict with the Extreme Ultraviolet Variability Experiment (EVE) sounding rocket launch also scheduled for May. There is a lot of overlap in team members between the two projects. If commissioning for MinXSS doesn’t go perfectly, the EVE rocket launch will likely be delayed from late May to June.
Fingers crossed!
