MinXSS v4.0.0 and DAXSS v2.0.0 data released

August 26, 2022

It’s release day again! In addition to all the updates and improvements we’ve made to the data you’ve seen before, this is also the first official release of DAXSS level 2 and 3 data, which are 1 minute, 1 hour, and 1 day time averages of the data. INSPIRESat-1 (the satellite that hosts DAXSS) launched in 2022 February, so we’ve now got 6 months of observations from a sun-synchronous, dawn-dusk orbit (meaning that we almost never experience eclipses on orbit, which is amazing).

You can find all of the new data over on the data page, and we’re working to deliver these new data to NASA SDAC as well so that you’ll be able to get the data from that source as well.

The official release can be found here: https://github.com/minxsscubesat/minxsscubesat/releases/tag/v3.1.0, which also includes links to the full commit diff, user guides, and the high-level changelog. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions, find issues, or want to contribute! You can find our contact information at the bottom of the data page.
