DYNAGLO

DYNamics Atmosphere GLObal-Connection

Connecting terrestrial dynamics to space weather

DYNAGLO mission logo

The DYNamics Atmosphere GLObal-Connection two 6U CubeSat mission fills a crucial observation gap in the ionosphere-thermosphere (I-T) region. The DYNAGLO mission will be the first of its kind, providing the community with global thermosphere gravity wave measurements and their characteristics to be correlated with known gravity wave sources (terrestrial and geomagnetic). Coupled with coincident measurements of aurora variability used as a proxy for when aurora generated gravity waves occur, this comprehensive mission will help fill the thermosphere gap, inform the heliophysics community and constrain models.
