Brian is a data-focused technologist, who leads the Database team within the data systems group at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. He specializes in the storage, movement, and on-going integrity and backups of large scientific datasets. He is also an active, hands-on developer and architect, on multiple cloud-based projects at the lab. Brian has obtained many industry certifications over the years in various software stacks and enjoys learning and experimenting with new technologies. His primary technical goal is to develop and deliver simple, easy to maintain solutions, for highly complex problems.
