SEUVM

Solar Extreme Ultraviolet Monitor

The Solar Extreme Ultraviolet Monitor was designed to observe temporal variations of solar UV intensity, specifically during solar flares. SEUVM was aboard the OSO-5 mission and made an approximate determinations of the differences in temperature and constituent number densities of the Earth's upper atmosphere between sunrise and sunset.
