International Workshop on Instrumentation for Planetary Missions 6
August 4 - 6, 2025
Boulder, Colorado
Please mark your calendar to join us Aug 4 – 6, 2025, in Boulder, Colorado, for the sixth International Workshop on Instrumentation for Planetary Missions (IPM-2025).
The objective of the IPM-2025 is to discuss instrumentation and enabling technologies for planetary missions. We will convene scientists, engineers, students and other stakeholders who develop or use instrumentation onboard planetary missions to discuss key planetary science questions and the technology that is required to address these questions. These missions include both science and exploration missions, and include (but are not limited to) those highlighted by the NASA Planetary Decadal Surveys.
The IPM-2025 will have special topics on:
- Uranus Orbiter and Probe
- Asteroid Exploration
- Lunar Exploration Opportunities
Abstract submission will open in March. We will solicit abstracts that address lessons-learned from previous planetary instruments, a survey of current state-of-the-art instruments and techniques, and emerging capabilities in planetary instrumentation. While we especially encourage abstracts that address the three special topics of the IPM-2025, we welcome abstracts on all topics related to planetary instrumentation and enabling technologies.
