The 31st MESSENGER Science Team meeting will be held Wednesday through Friday, October 2-4, 2013 at the Hotel Boulderado in Boulder, Colorado.

In addition to three plenary sessions, two breakout sessions are organized into the following four science groups:

  • Geology Discipline Group (GDG)
  • Atmosphere and Magnetosphere Discipline Group (AMDG)
  • Geochemistry Discipline Group (GcDG)
  • Geophysics Discipline Group (GpDG)

Boulder FlatironsBoulder is about one hour from Denver International Airport and is accessible from the airport by car, bus or Supershuttle. It is nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and routinely makes national “best of” lists including Gallup Healthways’ Happiest City in America (2012), US Bureau of Labor Statistics Most Educated Metro Area (2011), and Bon Appetit’s America’s Foodiest Towns (2010).

IMPORTANT – MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS EARY! Our conference is the same weekend as CU’s Family Weekend and if you don’t get one of the ~60 conference rooms the Boulderado has blocked for us, other hotels will book up well in advance and at premium prices.

Daily parking at the Boulderado:  Use their valet for $1.25/hour or use one of several downtown parking garages for the same price. On-street parking is the same price, but limited on time. (Overnight guest parking is $10/night unlimited in/out)

This meeting is sponsored by the MESSENGER Science Team at the University of Colorado and the Carnegie Institute of Washington.
