The first week of August, some of the summer students (Bena Mero, James Mason, Siddhesh Naik) from MinXSS went to the SmallSat conference at Utah State University in Logan. We presented a poster and brought some hardware. People were especially interested in our card cage design, thermal analysis, and number of students involved. We networked a lot and got the word out about MinXSS. We also met the folks at NanoRacks who are our deployer launcher. They are our interface to the International Space Station. We’re all looking forward to seeing images and video of the deployment!
