The MinXSS science team is following the trend of many instrument teams in creating science nuggets. These are little bits of data analysis and/or modeling that provide an idea of what can be done and what the team is up to. They aren’t externally peer reviewed, but will often lead to such publications. They are simply a means of communicating with the world with a fast turnaround from analysis to sharing. You can find all the MinXSS science nuggets at lasp.colorado.edu/minxss/science, and here is a direct link to the first science nugget.
